[DML] Bricklin Doors -- Manual versus Automated

There were some posts in the crash test discussion about Bricklin doors. I spoke with Terry Tanner at length at DCS'10 about his doors. They were originally supposed to be manually operated, as this video clip shows:

It's an International Harvester hood mechanism (the old butterfly hood). At the eleventh hour Malcom Bricklin insisted on automated doors. Terry had to scramble to cobble something together: he called his friends at Ford and purchased a bunch of Mustang convertible top cylinders.

Trivia: Bricklin window regulator is International Harvester. Several parts were sourced from IH.
