Re: [DML] Limit Users.

Gary meant it would be great if you acted like an adult and just talked about your modifications from time to time instead of always injecting your personal opinion in every thread about how terrible the car is as designed, how little you think of Lotus and their design philosophy, how awesome Ford/AMC/Lincoln/locomotives are compared to lousy DeLoreans, and all the other stick-poking I won't even mention.

The fact that so many D's are still on the road is a testament to the car being at least average in longevity, and given a couple more years to shake the bugs out, by 1984 I bet the DeLorean would have been about where we are today with modern improvements. Given the whole circumstances of the car, I'm surprised how well-trimmed and well-behaved the car is, compared to many kit-like cars I have seen from small-time companies.

Seriously, just chill out man. We are here to have fun, not be constantly reminded about what could have been. Save it for your own newsgroup. The archives are full of documented pitfalls for new owners. You don't need to treat the rest of us like noobs.

I like to read about the things that you do to your car. I may even do some to mine, but I don't like being told over and over again that this is the way that we should all go because the car is so deficient. The cars have been on the road for 30 years and are still going.
