Re: [DML] New poll for dmcnews

I will quit using the DML if it goes back to the way it was moderated
before. There is no sense posting a question and having to wait 3
days to get an answer because someone has to approve it.

What I propose is moderation for new accounts only to prevent spam.
This is how it is done on a Geo Metro forum I am part of. The
moderation is extremely simple. Basically the new member has to send
a message to the moderator saying why he/she would like to be part of
the forum. This is only done so the moderator can gauge if the new
member is going to start sending spam or not. After a day or so the
new member is given regular privledges.
