[DML] Re: Let's settle this once & for all...

Over the years many people have made modifications, changes, upgrades, you name it to their Deloreans. All of the venders offer various upgrades. Even the Factory, while it existed, had recalls and Service Bulletins to improve the car. Since the car was designed and built technology has improved and there are many things that can be done now that were not available back then. No one should begrudge what anyone does to their car nor do I think that is the case here. What gets people upset is when someone does something to their Delorean, says it was a piece of sh-t as it was designed, and their mod is so great that EVERY owner MUST do it. That can only make sense when it comes to safety and before making those kinds of claims there has to be enough proof and testing to warrant such claims. This is not about carburetors, it is about Bill trying to become an authority on all new mods and everyone acknowledging his expertise. He has done some clever things and probably will continue to do so but not all of these are for everybody. Certainly no one wants to be preached to about how great they are and how they have to have them.
