As for the screws that hold the headlight trim ring in position, you can buy a screw driver with what looks like adjustable tweezers on the shaft (many people have this tool already) that will hold the screw in place or even use loose tweezers to hold the screw on the screwdriver. As for the facia, you use a piece of thin plastic, or a straw as suggested, between the screw driver and the facia so as not to damage the facia. This takes very little extra time if you need to service the headlights, not to mention that you don't have to do much of anything with the headlights. I have had my car 29 years and haven't had to touch the original headlights for any reason.
Bill, I am glad that you are happy with your set up, but if it isn't broke, don't fix it.
