Bill, 

You have an AMC Spirit?  Wow.  They are a great small car with roots in the Gremlin, Pacer, AMC and Javelin.   I have heard stories of how much torque the 258 can put out with a little modification. 

They were one of the main cars at the 100th AMC anniversary in Kenosha in 2003.  

It looks like you have restored it.   Any special options?
