[DML] Re: Rob Grady's Personal Lower Suspension

It will not be up to me what effect anyone's changes to their car will have concerning their insurance. Ultimately it is between the insured and the insurer. I can only state my opinion as to what *could* happen. It is something anyone planning to modify their car should consider. Just as what effect it could have on the car's resale value (if you even care). Some changes are more benign then others. Anything that could affect braking and/or handling could potentially be VERY dangerous especially if not done properly (torquing bolts, etc). Not only are you changing the original set-up, you did it yourself and maybe not correctly. At least that is the way an attorney of the person you hit with your modified car would look at it. At the very least you should notify your insurance company of any large modifications so they can't claim they didn't know and try to deny coverage.
