RE: [DML] Upgraded lower oe control arms

I add a plate to the underside to strengthen, bead blast and repaint with
POR15, press in a new ball joint with retainer for $125.00 exchange.

I also have a pair of original ones that were beefed up by the factory with
almost a complete plate underneath the front or nose part. I may start doing
that.

This happened to me not too long ago....

I didn't hit anything. Just all of the sudden the steering started to
feel funny.

About six months before that I had the lower control arms off to replace
the bushing and was thinking of sanding and repainting them. But when I
cleaned them up they looked to be in good shape so I didn't bother.
Oops. Now I'm using stainless steel ones.
