Fortunately evidence is objective, and it paints a very different picture than JZD's carefully managed PR personna. 

The man wrecked careers and stole fortunes -- period. Evidence against him is overwhelming. I don't care how charming he was in person -- with your company's checkbook in his hand, he was financial poison.

Please bear in mind that I do not hold JZD's bad behavior against the cars that bear his name. They are a testament to other people, not him. John DeLorean actually had little to do with incarnation of the car other than securing British funds. He had much more to do with demise of the operation.
