[DML] VIN 500 Takes a Trip

Last night Patti and I attended a reception at the Crawford Auto/Aviation Museum to say goodbye to all the automobiles and aircraft. That part of the museum will close Monday for renovations and it won't reopen until September 2012. Many of the vehicles and aircraft will be kept in storage for a year.

At the reception the museum's Director of Community Relations told us that the VIN 500 DeLorean will not be going into storage. Instead it will go on loan to the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum in northern Indiana. For you Midwestern DeLorean fans this could be a great opportunity. The VIN 500 car should ship out soon.
