[DML] "stiff" automatic shifting.

Ahh, a subject line that matches the content..  :)

I think he is talking about how quick the shifts are.  IIRC, this is controlled by the vacuum modulator.  Try to disconnect (and cap) the vacuum line at the intake manifold.  I ran my turbo car this way for a while.
