Re: [DML] AC Compressor blows a back plate?



Revising my comment on this;  Spoke to someone with a NOS compressor, seals blew out within a few months..  Having a compressor sitting on the shelf, even if it is sealed, does not keep the seals lubricated with oil..   A 30 year old "used" compressor will probably be in better shape than a NOS.  (IMHO).

Also, I hate to pick on the DML Moderators, because they are volunteers, but having a message I sent out on Saturday put out to the list on Tuesday is a bit crazy.  It is no wonder people are flocking to DMCTalk.  :(
