[DML] Re: Just got great CHEAP insurance

You can't compare "apples with oranges". In this case Grundy with Nationwide. Two different insurance policies. If you can accept and live with the few additional restrictions imposed by most "classic" insurance policies it is the only way to go. Classic (or antique) car insurance IS a niche business and the large companies can't compete at it. Like most things you also need to shop it and get the best price. $270 is a good price but there is a whole lot more to a car insurance policy than the Stated Value, Liability limit, and the premium. Be sure you understand what you are (and are not) buying.

Only car shows and sunday driver and I had to be over 25 year old which I certainly am! Which is fine with me that's all I use it for. No millage restriction either.

I told Nationwide to stick it where the sun don't shine and canceled my policy. I don't think classic car insurance is really the forte of the big companies.
