RE: [DML] Car Transport (Original subject " Bodywork")

My advice would be to let AAA provide the tow if you have AAA membership. The car should not be towed or hauled with the louvers facing forward, the wind can lift them up and cause real damage.

If the driver of the other vehicle that caused the damage is at fault, I would think the tow would be the responsibility of his/her carrier. Some states also require that you be provided a rental car while yours is in the shop.

You are 118 miles away. With a AAA membership you can have it towed 100
miles. Do you have a friend about 25 miles away? Drive to his house,
or pay for a tow, call AAA , have your friend take you home?

I recently posted about a collision and want to thank everyone who
replied. You all provided valuable information.

One more thing - Can anybody make some recommendations for transporting
my D to Rob Grady?

Its only about 2 hours away but I don't want to drive her there because
of possible alignment issues.

TIA,

Tony
