Hi Knut,
I am reaching out to you for your help. My name is Liesl McLean and I am the current President of the Eugene Active 20-30 Club. We are a non profit raising money to help benefit the welfare of children in our community. We are 100% volunteer based. We have been involved in the Eugene/Springfield community for 83 years. One of the activities that we are most known for in the community is our Coats for Kids drive. Each October we ask the community to donate gently used coats, we then partner with a dry cleaner, and sort and deliver the coats to the requested agencies or schools that we work with. Last year we had requests for over 1500 coats-we fell short of our goal by 700.

This year we are determined to fill every last coat requested so no child goes cold this winter. We are hosting our very 1st annual Homecoming Dance, "Back to the 80's" on Saturday, October 16th. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go toward purchasing coats for our drive. Because we all loved the movie Back to the Future, we would love to find out if there are any DeLorean owners in Oregon that would be willing to showcase their car that night. I googled DeLorean and come up with your name. Having one of these cars will be such a tremendous draw to this event, and ultimately would lead to raising a lot more money to buy coats for the kids.
