Re: [DML] DMC Joe Lives??

I never met DMC Joe in person, but I was around when he was a frequent fixture on the DMCnews list. Personally, he gave me a LOT of free advice and I paid him back by buying parts from him from time to time. I don't think he had any parts that were really special or at a great price, since he got most everything from Grady, but he was a likable guy and pretty much ALWAYS available to answer a question when you called. I think his son helped him at the shop. He was the kind of guy who once called me on a Sunday and said he was thinking about my cold start problem (or something like that) and he thought of an idea for me to try and wanted to tell me right away. That was pretty cool.

It's obvious some other owners had an opposite experience in later years, but I just wanted to say that he played a big role and making me a proud owner and learning to sift through the typical DeLorean problems. It would be great if he could tie up the loose ends and come back to the community (though now-a-days there are many more vendors and shops than there were even in the early 2000's!!).
