Re: AW: [DML] Fan Fix Dual 2 x 2

Ouch, I think. The tractors on our farm years ago had a gauge that showed the generator charge (no alternators then), it was labeled AMMETER. The definition of ammeter is a measuring instrument used to measure the electric current in a circuit.

I believe that I should have used the term volt meter instead----at least the DMC owners manual shows the gauge above the TEMP indicator with the term VOLTS (Section 2, Figure 12 Instrument Cluster).

Sorry. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to correct the terminology.

cool, you have a ampere-meter installed ?
where, how, and how does it look like ?

:-)

My experience with low amp fans makes me believe that nothing else is needed. At idle when both of my fans come on the ammeter hardly moves. They solve another issue also, your 90 amp alternator is now more than adequate, no need to get a more powerful one. Rod 10921
