RE: [DML] Insurance Discount

I can remember QUITE a long time ago, a fellow from NJ, Mr. Griepenberg (sp.?), was telling those at the DOA convention that Allstate was giving DeLorean owners a discount since they sponsored the DMC-12 as a "Safety Vehicle". My agent had no clue as to what I was talking about, so maybe it was only available in NJ? Allstate in Okla. does not give an anti-theft discount for the inertia switch- I asked. Oh, well. It's the "Scotch" in me (& a "splash of soda"). Drive Stainless Robert VIN 6924

> Hello Group,
> Liberty Mutual Insurance offers insurance discount if auto has anti theft device. The fuel pump cut-off switch qualifies. Additionally, a master disconnect switch can be mounted in top of battery compartment cover. Pollak #51-302P, Boston, Mass., available from J.C.Whitney is an excellent unit having a low profile one inch high cut-off switch hidden by carpet; also helpful in minimizing batter discharge.
