Re: [DML] Brake Fluid

David,

I haven't been able to find the Castrol GTLMA in California so I just use the Valvoline Synthetic DOT 4 Brake Fluid, which is what Don and Dan at DeLorean in California use. I don't know if the valvoline DOT4 Synthetic is available in your area though

Subject: [DML] Brake Fluid

Castrol GTLMA now has a "new" formulae. On the bottle it now says it's synthetic. On their website under their "Ask the expert" it says you MUST use ONLY mineral based brake fluid for Girling brakes. Does anyone have any information as to if we should continue to use Castrol GTLMA or is there a different brake fluid we should be using? I just did my brake flush. The stuff is a lot more yellow then the previous stuff.
