RE: [DML] DOA Technical content.



I like the idea, but am interested in what incentives we can or should offer
to people for their contributions to such a committee.

 

I believe we'd need one in order to maintain consistency within such a
group.

I guess I was being cautious about the involvement of Vendors when it comes
to content. Maybe a better (but more complex) idea would be to have a
"technical advisory committee" that would have members that could include
vendors, but the majority should be independent owners who are more savvy on
the mechanicals of the car. They could meet (virtually, of course) to review
any technical content being published by the club. 

In the interest of "transparency", their discussions could be made public
too.

Now, THIS would be a nice perk for club members.... Reviewing all technical
recommendations by the best minds in the community (in an vendor independent
manor)! Sign me up.
