[DML] Re: DeLorean Registration in NY (historical vs. regular plates), emissions testing

The DeLorean is exempt from emission testing in NY. You also don't need any special plates. I've had mine in NY for 7 years now, and along with my other classics (60's&50's) never had any emission testing; they don't even look for a catalytic. And as far as age requirements, I thought it was only 20+ years are exempt.
