Re: [DML] Re: Blower

Got into it and found a fused wire, green/white, that had a fuse that showed as good on the test meter. However it also was a Lucas fuse so I replaced it and now it works on all settings. I can't say this often enough..........If you find anything that has a Lucas name on it, replace it!

Have you ever messed with the mode switch? Sounds to me like it's wired incorrectly and/or missing a connection. Power for the blower comes through the mode switch and it uses different contacts when in different positions. If one of yours is missing it will do what you describe.

If you don't want to pull your console and check it that way, push the driver's seat all the way back and assume the yoga position with your head by the pedals. Look to the center of the console and you should see three contacts on the mode switch - a red/orange, a green, and a green/white. The red should be in the middle and the green goes on the bottom, the green/white goes on the top.

Hope this solves it,
