Neither of these are likely to happen as they will be cost Prohibitive and
in the long run this is all about one thing to the person laying out the
money...making MORE money!

To re-engineer the car to have gullwing doors would be a major change to the
design of the car, take considerable engineering, parts, time, and MONEY.

I am sure *if* this venture were to proceed, they would acquire the car
as-is and continue production with a new brand name.  Near future changes
might include some performance tuning or slight cosmetic changes, but
nothing major in design for quite some time.

As for new DMC-12s.....  Again, there are a lot of parts needed,
engineering, etc.  I am sure the major focus for the near future would be to
stabilize the Solstice Marque and if/when interest exists they would look to
branch out into other vehicles.

I like the renderings to some degree. But I think they need more DMC-12
influence (ie gullwing doors). And if DMCH can actually buy the Wilmington
plant, can they stamp out "new" DMC-12s then?
