[DML] Re: Live Video from DCS West

Hi Mike and Patti,

No worries!!!  I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed the video streams.  I originally got the streaming application for my phone so that at upcoming whip events where we will be attending/vending we could stream video for our customers that aren't able to attend the event.  And I figured with the DCS event I could test it out, and perhaps someone who couldn't attend would find it enjoyable.  That is actually one of the main reasons I wanted to do this, as I remember really enjoying whoever it was on the DML that at some of the past DCS events posted daily pictures from the show for those who couldn't make it.  And I'm happy that taking the live streaming videos did exactly that for someone else, sort of a way to pay back this wonderful community that has always been extremely gracious to me over the past 10 years even though I have yet to live my own dream, ;-).

I'll be leaving the videos up at qik.com/midwestwhips for anyone who wants to have a look at them.  I really wish I could have stayed for the dinner as well.  It was really cool to see Bob Gale when I went in to the hotel to use the bathroom and get a coffee, and it would have been great to hear him talk.  I had remembered hearing that he was originally from St. Louis (as am I), and I wanted to ask him what part of StL he was from, but I didn't get the chance.

I met some wonderful people and had an amazing time, even though I was only there for a very short time.  Thank you to everyone, this is such a great community of great people!!!
