[DML] Re: High idle (2600 rpm) until temp hits 180 degrees



Rich, a faulty or unplugged idle speed thermistor will cause this exact symptom. If you have access to a volt/ohm meter, meter across pins 9 and
11 on the idle ECU (behind the driver's seat under the drivers side
parcel tray) if the circuit is open, you either have a loose connection or a failed thermistor. The thermistor and connector are under the intake manifold on the Y pipe.
