Lawrence deserves both support and credit for producing new torsion  
bars.

No one else has done this.   The original production equipment has  
been destroyed.

Making fun that it is not "new and improved" is not productive.

They are new.

As for improved?  Has metal alloy technology and purity improved in  
the last 25 years.
It sure has.   Ever hear of high strength low alloy steel.  This did  
not exist 25 years ago.

If lawrence has been able to produce a torsion bar without cryo  
treatment, that is an improved
production technology.

If your torsion bar has not broken yet, an it eventually will,  this  
is something we all are going to need.
