Hi Dave,

Does the reset axle move easily in and out or not?
If that's not going smoothly it may have gotten rough edges or if lubricant has been used, has collected dirt.
It could also be that the drive of the trip counter is no longer smooth.

My previous D had alike problems. Had to push several times before all was set to zeros. After taking the meter apart, cleaning and re-assembling the problem was over. Be careful with lubricants as the system is not lubed at all (attracting dirt!). Probably rust is causing your problem as was in mine.
