RE: [DML] Re: windshield replacement

David and Group,
I talked to a man in Great Britain last week about selling windshields over
here. We had a nice talk and he was going to get back to me about stocking
them. But like so many suppliers if you don't talk large quantity they sound
good but don't follow thru.
Someone posted their company name on the DML about a month or 2 ago. I will
be talking to people at the auto parts show this year in Las Vegas if he
doesn't follow thru.

He was correct in that actually installing the windscreen IS similar to
installing one in a Lotus. You are correct that there is no Lotus windscreen
that fits a Delorean. A problem he will face is that many glass shops do not
want to install glass that they do not supply. It may be necessary for the
glass shop to order the glass directly from DMCH and install it. Some money
can be saved by removing the old, broken windscreen and cleaning the car up
before the glass shop comes. Just wear gloves and eye protection. Don't
forget to transfer any inspection or registration stickers and EZ pass
velcro before throwing the old windscreen away.
