RE: [DML] The best engine oil

Many thanks John,

What I meant about "off the list" was that I have no problem with being sent an e-mail directly to me rather than having it posted on the dmcnews yahoogroups e-mail list but since it pertains to our car I'm sure others enjoy reading the information too.

If the filer is good then I would go ahead and use it and then when your
ready to re-buy then go to the Bosch. Also the 72150 won't get in the way of
the oil pressure unit if you haven't had plumbing added to move the unit.
Any time. Don't understand, write you off the list .
John

John,

A million thank yous for the new information (new to me) about engine oil
and the 85 Volvo engine being computer controled while our De Lorean engine
is not. After reading what you said I believe I'm best off to stick with
what I have been using right along--Valvoline 20-50. I have had no problems
with it.

As for the filter, the guy I bought the car from had a few brand new
ones that he gave me and I still have one left. It's a Valvoline VO-15.
Should I toss it and get a 72150 Bosch?

You're welcome to write me off the list, if you prefer.
