[DML] Re: A/C troubles

If you are 100% sure that the charge is right, change or adjust the low pressure switch. It's cheap enough just to change it. It's screwed to the accumulator bottle behind the right front wheel. DO NOT be tempted to bypass it unless you want bigger problems later.

The switch can be removed without discharging the system, there is a schrader valve behind it. Which will sometimes stick and leak, so have the new switch at the ready.

Sometimes in cool weather (60's-ish) the A/C will come on for a second or 2 and then shut right off. The a/c has plenty of charge in it, I'm just wondering which electrical part or A/C component will fix this once replaced. I need to discharge the system soon anyway in order to change an O-ring on the condenser lower fitting, so I'd like to fix whatever else is causing this issue at the same time. Thank you for your time and advice in advance, Dani B #5003.
