[DML] correction on room rates

Hi
Josh is right in that we did get a great reduction in room rates
He is NOT correct that you will get a refund shortly if you left a deposit.
The rates will be adjusted over the next week or so if you have a reservation this is automatic so you do not need to do anything. This is as long as you registered under DCS.
But if you are one of the early ones that left a deposit it will just be adjusted on your bill when you check out. Its not worth the paperwork for them to do it any other way.

The most important information is missing.

If you register now you can take advantage of these lower rates. As of now there is no room deposit and if the economy recovers they can raise the rates back to the original amount. But if you register at this rate it will NOT go up and you are locked in at the lowest rate.

The Palace Station has worked well with us on this and we appreciate the cooperation. Of all the hotels we have worked with in the past they have been very accommodating and its this personal touch that we have enjoyed since we started working with them.

This is the advantage of registering at the Palace Station. If we do make a change you will not need to do anything and you will get the best rate possible.

Some of the rates were almost cut in half so if you had reservations on whether to go or not now is the time to register.
It cost you nothing, you lock in the lowest rate possible, if it goes down you get that break if it goes up you are locked in at the lower rate so this is the best time to register.

Rooms have been going faster than anticipated so we look forward to a great show.

Hey Gang,

Ken asked me to post this info. Due to the ongoing economic crisis, rates have been reduced significantly for the Palace Station Hotel & Casino for DCS 09. If you have already booked and paid for your rooms, you should be getting a refund shortly. If not, now is a good time to register with the hotel! Here's why: If the economy does recover and rates go back up, you will obviously not be charged more, unless you haven't booked yet!

Here are what the old room rates were at the Palace Station:

9/24/09
- Courtyard $65.00
- Tower $79.00
- Petite Suite $119.00

9/25/09 & 9/26/09 (per night)
- Courtyard $115.00
- Tower $129.00
- Petite Suite $169.00

?And here are the new rates:

9/24/09
- Courtyard $45.00
- Tower $65.00
- Petite Suite $95.00

9/25/09 & 9/26/09 (per night)
- Courtyard $65.00
- Tower $84.00
- Petite Suite $114.00

All rates quoted are per room, per night, single or double occupancy. There is a $15 charge for triple occupancy and $30 charge for quadruple occupancy. A $4.95 Hotel Service's Fee will be added per room, per night. All of the above is subject to Clark County room tax , currently at 9%. If you still need to book your room, have questions or need to make any changes, you can reach the Palace Station at 1-800-634-3101.

Thanks,
Josh
