[DML] Re: A BRAND NEW THREAD---EBAY PARTS

They always do that. Take some generic aftermarket, "universal" part,
and list it a 1,000 times over with every imaginable make a model out
there. There was a thread a couple of years ago like this too about
some guy on eBay selling "lambo door conversion kits" on eBay, and
listed DeLoreans and Bricklins as cars these types of kits would fit.
If I recall, a couple of DML'ers really put the screws to the guy on
how to install them, and if I remember correctly he didn't even know
what a DeLorean was. I've even seen legitimate websites do the same
with "universal" parts like moonroof wind deflectors for the DeLorean...

Now I do buy some parts off eBay for our family's different cars,
since in many cases they are cheaper than retail. However, you
seriously need to be diligent in knowing just what exactly it is
you're buying.
