By now you've heard how to take them off... let me add that you should look
carefully at how the cargo net brackets mount before you take them off.
They're in an awkward place, I think I moved and tilted the seat forward to put a
foot inside the car to reach in there. So you end up glancing at it for a
second to see where the screw head is and do the rest by feel, up under the
edge without really seeing the layout. They're an unusual design, and if you
just take them all off in a big hurry, then don't get around to finishing the
job for a month, you won't remember how the heck they go back in. I don't have
my notes here at work, but as I recall, the backer board is held between the
two short prongs.
Also, there is a little play in the location of the four hinge screws at the
engine cover. If you don't check first and adjust, they may cause the engine
cover to rub against the rear fascia. I got new hinges from P. J. Grady. For
awhile they were unavailable.
