I just got my wife's car smogged here in CA on Saturday. As I was doing
some research on the DMV site to make sure I was ready to go I found
reference to the part of the CA code that requires smog checks.
Currently vehicles manufactured after 1977 all have to get smogged every
two years, but the exception does start rolling forward again, and when
the cars reach 30 years of age they are exempt. It will be a while,
especially for the '83 owners, but eventually we will get to talk about
Hervey headers and bypass pipes too.

03238 - one more smog check to go

10902 - two more smog checks left
