What exactly do you wanna test ?

 

2 LEDs or small bulbs, a 12V power supply and an adjustable power supply

is most of what you need.

the alternator normally doesn't go bad, but the solder joints fail !

Who out there has a test bench set up to fully test a governor off the car?
