[DML] Re: Starved Fuel Symptoms When Hot



Are you SURE it is a fuel problem? To me it sounds like an impulse
coil problem. The next time it happens you must test either the fuel
system or the ignition system. If you have some Ether squirt a SMALL
amount in and see if it runs. If it does then it's fuel and if it
doesn't run then it's ignition. The other way to test would be to pull
a spark plug wire and see if there is spark. No spark means an
ignition system problem and very likely it is the impulse coil inside
the distributer.
