RE: [DML] Re: Wheel noise

Sounds remarkably like loose lug nuts on a front wheel. I had the same problem once on the back wheel, only it became quite a clunking noise. It stopped while braking. The lugs were loose, I tightened them and the problem when away.

One very dangerous possability is loose lug-nuts on one or morewheels. Other possabilies include:Bad C/V jointsLoose bolts in the C/V joints to the final driveThe common denominator is something loose. This can be dangerous so Iwould try to find the problem before driving the car again.David Teitelbaumvin 10757--- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, aod80@... wrote:>> > > Hey group,> > I was driving my D and I heard and felt a clicking typenoise/feeling when I was moving. I could feel it through the steeringwheel and through the clutch and gas pedals. When I press the brakepedal it stops. I can't figure out what it is, especially since itonly happens when I'm moving. If anyone knows what this might be andif it's a problem, I would greatly appreciate the help. I am planninga bit of a drive coming up soon, so I don't want to have any problemsout on the road.> > Thanks,> Adrian Dunker> 10674> > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]>
