Tom,

I am confused.  Are you saying Lotus had no idea what they were doing (or purposely messed up) the D suspension, or are you saying the Esprit suspension is bad design too? 

That's surprising because Lotus design has always been considered world-class. Especially around the the time of DeLorean.

Let us see the front suspension as well, please! I would like to know if 
they did the same kind of 'wonderful' engineering job as they did in the 
back.
As I am currently working on building a new frame from scratch I keep 
looking at the original design and keep wondering.... did they have no idea 
what they were doing or if they did it on purpose. Seeing the Lotus 
suspension I have to think that they simply had no clue.
I will soon post pictures of my frame build on my website. I will post to 
the DML when the pictures are up.
