Re: [DML] Nice day for a car fire?

Last I checked, Water and antifreeze do not burn. Are you sure you don't have a fuel leak in that new carburetor??

Then I took it on the highway and part of the wiring got
antifreeze/water on it from a leaky hose. You can guess what happened
next. I pulled the car over and sprayed the fire out. (I carry a fire
extinguisher with me in every vehicle I drive.) I called AAA for help,
and the Gastonia fire department was there within five minutes. The
poor guys showed up expecting a car fire -- somehow AAA missed the
fact that I had put the fire out myself, though I'd mentioned it about
three times. But that's another story for another day, I suppose.
