[DML] Re: DeLorean Owners Association

One way to put together a "National" board (NOT A NATIONAL CLUB) would
be to have each regional club appoint an officer to be a Board member
and the vendors can also be represented. No need for a National club
actually, just a National coordinating committee. As for the museum,
"He who has the gold makes the rules", what this means is that whoever
puts up the money to create the museum gets to pick it's location.
Some possabilites include:
JZD's Mansion
One of the vendors offers a room
One of the QC centers. The location in NJ is now an office building
and they *could* be persuaded to allow a room.
An existing car museum that makes sense to include a Delorean museum

As for ongoing expenses, each regional club could contribute a portion
of their dues to operate the museum. The big nut to crack is the
initial expense.

As for the DOA, they can call themselves whatever they care to but I
do agree, the name DOA has a lot of negative connotations.
