[DML] Engine Misfires / Won't Start Cold

Hello,

I am hoping someone could help me troubleshoot an issue I am having
with my car.

My engine misfired the other day after the car had been running for >
2 hours. (Air temperature has been in the 90's since this has been
happening, whether or not that's a factor, I don't know). This
happened once before, with similar weather conditions. Anyway, since
this happened, my car will not start cold. It will turn, but no
ignition. I am only able to start it by removing the air filter box
and pressing / opening the pressure plate on the MCU. It seems to
work best if someone else starts the car while I apply slight
pressure on the plate. It will then run rough for about 30 seconds
and then runs smooth (about the time the ISM valve closes). Once the
car warms for a few minutes, it will start each subsequent time and
runs well.

I have new plugs and cables. I have pulled the Primary Pressure
Regulator to ensure the seals are good. I also have positive fuel
pressure. The entire fuel system was replaced by the previous owner
a few years back.

Does anyone have any idea that can help point me to the culprit?

Thanks,

Chad Hall
