[DML] Re: Original Shop Manuals

There was also a manual printed by the DMCA (DeLorean Club of America, some
original owners may remember this organization) that has the basic same material
but also different from the "normal" shop manual. I didn't realize there were two
different ones until someone looking at mine asked where in the heck it came from
because it was different than his.

If anyone is interested to compare this manual I can bring it to DCS08.

As far as I know the dealers never got a "shop manual". Parts,
bulletins, and the like, and there were the Technical Manuals. But, no
shop manual. There were apparently a few in "draft" when the Delorean
factory closed. From those few came all the copies. Those few originals
were sold to some dealers and people that got them from Kapac. I got
one from a dealer in Houston in 1984 or so.

Maybe DMCH knows the history completely.
