[DML] Re: Vin 501 not found (was VIN...570 confusion)

I can't believe I am refuting Claude yet again, but here I go lol.
There was an early DeLorean (VIN 917 I believe) for sale in Apex, NC
about 5 years ago with similar features. It had the early
rough/textured pontoons, white engine cover, it seems it had the
frame modifications y'all are talking about, and some other little
anomalies. Perhaps ~IT~ was VIN 501! :-P It was also painted red,
I'm SURE was one of those rare "factory" painted D's too! (note: I'm
using heavy sarcasm). By the way, where is VIN 570 nowadays? I know
Rob Grady bought it a number of years back.

I always HIGHLY suspected vin 570(my old Delorean) was 501 badged as
570...since it had everything JUST as 502(the twin turbo) minus of
course the twin turbo's,it had the same vin plate style SAME WHITE
engine cover,(the only TWO cars that I know that had those)exact
interior, the SAME EXACT frame with certain riveted items on the
frame, same "rough" black body, basically 100% twins in every
way.Again Minus the twin turbo stuff)
