[DML] Re: Brake fluid



It could be leaking into the brake booster. Pull the vacuum hose and
see if there is any sign of moisture (wetting) inside the hose. It is
not recommended to flush to change fluids. If you are changing the DOT
# you should disassemble every component and wipe with alcohol and
replace the seals. DOT 5 can't evaporate. It CAN hold a lot of air. It
is possible what you are experiencing is the air getting out, dropping
the level. How spongy is your pedal? You have to handle the DOT 5
carefully to prevent air getting in, ie, you have to pour slowly
without splashing the stuff.
