Re: [DML] Lauren and "Belinda" are superstars!

Jake - I had to smile at a memory that this post brought back. Darryl
Tinnerstet had one of these installed in BLWNAWY many years ago when he
had that car. We were in a St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown
Seattle, which is half uphill, and the rest is downhill. Darryl
decided to shut the engine off and coast when we got to the downhill
portion. We have our flashers on, and doors up during the parades, so
there is a steady power drain. He was coasting along, and all power
left his car. Right then, we leveled out a bit, and his car stopped
rolling. He was all knees and elbows trying to get into the battery
compartment to reset the switch before he got run over by the car
behind him. What a hoot!

Lauren and everybody else. 1063 has been running one of these for over
9 years, and I attribute my ridiculous battery longevity to it. It
automatically monitors your battery voltage, and when it senses a drain
for too long, it shuts the battery off.

on, doors open, etc. etc. It will always leave you enough juice to
start the car. If it trips, you just hit reset and fire that mother up.
