[DML] Re: A proud new DMC owner!

Hi Bradley.

Congratulations on your car.  When I bought mine, ten years ago, I
lived in Hooksett too.  I can recommend a competent mechanic in that
area if it's helpful.

I have four tips:

1. Go to the Delorean Car Show this summer, even if your car doesn't
go.  You'll be glad you did.

2. Wayne Ernst gave you good advice.  I second it.  If your "new" 25
year old car does anything weird, pull over and check it out. 
Deloreans are great, but are vintage, and don't get a lot of exercise,
sometimes.  If you're lucky, yours will have been driven a bit before
you bought it and won't have disuse related foibles.  

3. Be happy, even if you have to bring it home on a flatbed.  That's
how mine got home to Hooksett, and it was STILL an exciting trip for me.  

4. Try to avoid the salt on the NH roads and try to avoid parking on
grass, if you can.  Mine had been driven year round in MA, and parked
on grass, and had significant rust.
