[DML] Re: Brake Master Cylinder

The proportioning is set up by design of the master cylinder and the
sizes of the front and rear calipers. A metering valve is not required
as there are disc brakes all around. The front and rear brake systems
are independant so a leak in one is not supposed to compromise the
other. If there IS a leak in one of the systems the level will drop
and the warning light comes on. Way before that you should have
noticed that the brakes are not working quite as well as they should!
There is also a test button on the float switch. It would be a good
idea to check it once in a while just to be sure that the brake
warning system works. The brake warning light lights up when EITHER
the brake fluid is low OR the emergency brake is not all the way off.
Can't hurt to see if that works too! The brake system on a Delorean is
one of the simplest disc brake systems EVER!
