Having the "NO FLUX" licence plate, when they ask "WTFC?". I just point to the plate and they get a laugh. It also gets the point across that it may not be the most original comment.

I usually act puzzled as though I have never heard of a flux capacitor. Then when they reference BTTF, I try to correct them by telling them this was actually the car from "Star Wars" and firmly stand behind that comment. I have actually confused quite a few people since its such a far stretch with the "star wars" reference and you can see the gears turning with the look of puzzlement as they quickly try to recall all the star wars movies to prove me wrong..All of that is over now though. Thanks to John Sawyer from AZ-D club, I now own a replica flux to display at shows.
