Mmmm... theoretically. But there's enough out of date info in our 1981-83  
manuals- and I have them all, even the ones no longer in print- that it's not a  
good idea to rely on them alone. And they aren't the most detailed or user  
friendly to begin with. So yeah, get the manuals, but no one should expect them 
 to be the last word or all they should be. And unfortunately, I've never 
seen  one with a disclaimer to that effect!
