RE: [DML] Re: Spark plug replacement

Adrian,
Look on my accessory page and I have some long nose pliers with a 30 degree
bend on the end of them that you can pull the plug wires with. You can also
pull the plug and injector without having to remove the motor if you will
spray a little WD40 on the rubber hoses to help the pliers go down in there.
I have never removed a motor to pull or replace wires or injectors. With my
Stainless steel fuel lines being 1/2 the size of the original fuel lines
it's no problem.

Actually you can get to all of the plugs except the one in the front,
left side. You have to remove (or at least move) the idle motor to get
at it. It is a lot easier to do with the intake manifold removed but
it is not required. You do have to remove the air cleaner. If the
ignition wires are old they should be replaced, pulling on them could
damage them, especially if they are old. You will need a long
extention, the plugs are quite deep in the wells. Try to gap all of
the plugs as closely as possible so the engine will run smoothly. Use
Never-Seize on the threads when you install the new ones.
